First Day of School

Summer is officially over and all of my kids started school! I can't believe how fast time flies! Parker didn't appreciate me taking pictures of him in the front yard, did not want me to walk him to find his class and flipped out when I asked him to stand with some friends in his class for a picture! He is growing up obviously, mom is so not cool and he was walking like five feet in front of me the whole time. Maya, my little Maya is now a first grader! I am going to miss her. She is my peacemaker, the one who entertains Avery (which by the way is NOT easy to keep her attention!) and the one who is just always easy. She loved every minute of first grade and thinks she is so big, it is really cute. Avery, little psycho pants Avery as my kids call her started pre school. Can't believe it! And even more amazing is the fact that she made it thru the first day! She loved it and has all her little friends from playgroup and her little cousin in there and she loved it. I feel old saying this, but they do grow up so fast! My babies are growing up!

Host a Party, Earn Free Clothes!

Host a Persnickety Party and earn free clothes! It's easy! I have invitations you can email so you don't have to deliver them individually. There are so many items that appeal to all ages, and one of the best things are the "mom" skirts. There are 16 different patterns and they are to die for! Flattering on everyone and the color combinations are awesome. Persnickety has generous hostess benefits and you will earn free clothes and earn items at 50% off depending on how much is sold at your party. I wouldn't be selling this if I didn't think people wouldn't LOVE these clothes. Once you see this stuff, I promise you will fall in love with them! I have samples of all of the items at my house, so if anyone wants to see them in person, just let me know and you can see first hand how darling they all are!

Working Girl?!?

I am really excited to be associated with Persnickety Clothing...
I haven't "worked" since I was pregnant with Parker and I am pumped to have the chance to work with Persnickety. Their clothes are so unique and adorable. The owner is such a sweetie, a creative stay at home mom trying to make a difference in the world! For every item of clothing sold, Persnickety donates an item of clothing to a child in need. I am so excited to be a part of this cause. So you know who to call if you want to host a Persnickety party. (Me obviously!!) Wish me luck! Hope I can pull it off!

Yes, it's true. I am now a blogger.

I have to say there are two things I swore I would never do...

A) Start a blog
B) Read the Twilight Series (Those books are soooo long! They would take me eighteen months to read, no kidding!)

Well, I am now eating my words. Here is my blog. Why have I not started a blog before now? Oh, maybe because all I have done to contribute to the construction of this blog was choosing the background!! Poor Brad has done all of this for me! I don't even know how to upload pictures, email pictures and heaven forbid I ever have to take the pictures from the little memory card and have to put them on my computer! Thank goodness for Brad...I am technically challenged to say the least. I am however a mad texter now, so I will give myself a pat on the back for figuring that one out all on my own. Hopefully I will get the hang of this so I can be up with the times!
